The Qld government appointed CBS to develop and deliver a program particularly focussed on strengthening high growth enterprises.
Over a period of 8 months our team worked with 16 business entrepreneurs from Cairns to Toowoomba developing innovative ways to move their enterprises to the next level. Even though the GFC hit at the start of the program all clients continued to prosper.
Through a number of strategies we developed one client increased revenue by 50% but more importantly profitability by 100%.
We are currently working with a Succession Fund board to develop their enterprise to facilitate a rewarding exit for business owners who are wanting to retire but haven’t the knowledge on how to do this successfully.
Thirty per cent of small business owners in Australia are now over 50 years of age and this rate is increasing each year. Sixty six per cent of owners, in this country, plan to use their business as their primary source of retirement income; forty three per cent aim to realise a lump sum benefit from the business; and 31 per cent expect an income stream.
The Succession Fund will be positioned to facilitate this process.
